This Privacy Policy explains what information AdvenSystem ("we", "us") collects when you visit advensystem.com or become a customer, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. We've written it in plain language on purpose.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, business name, email address, phone number, and business address.
- Website content — logos, photos, menus, service lists, hours, and any other material you send us to publish on your site.
- Correspondence — the emails and text messages you exchange with us.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card number, CVC, and expiration date are submitted directly to Stripe and are never received or stored on our servers. We retain only what Stripe returns to us: the last four digits, the card brand, and the status of each charge. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, our servers record standard technical data: IP address, browser type and version, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the site running, and is retained for a limited period.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. We group them as follows:
| Category | Purpose | Runs by default? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice. | Yes — the site cannot function without these. |
| Analytics | Understanding which pages people read and where visitors drop off, in aggregate. | No — only after you accept. |
| Advertising | Measuring the performance of our ads and showing relevant ads on other platforms. | No — only after you accept. |
We operate a consent banner on your first visit. Analytics and advertising technologies remain fully disabled until you choose "Accept all". If you choose "Reject non-essential", no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no data is transmitted to advertising platforms. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one.
3. How we use your information
- To design, build, publish, and maintain your website.
- To register and renew your domain name on your behalf.
- To bill you and keep records of payments.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To send service messages about your account, such as renewal or outage notices.
- To protect our systems against fraud and abuse.
- With your consent, to measure the performance of our marketing.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to deliver our service, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Domain registrars and DNS providers — registering and operating your domain name.
- Hosting and content delivery providers — serving your website reliably and securely.
- Email and messaging providers — communicating with you.
- Analytics and advertising platforms — only where you have given consent.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising outside of the consented advertising cookies described above.
5. How long we keep it
We keep customer records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Website content you supply is deleted on request once your account closes. Server logs are kept for a short operational window and then discarded.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not do either, but the right stands.
- Withdraw your cookie consent at any time.
- Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will verify your request and respond within the period required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
7. Security
Your site and your data are served over encrypted connections (TLS). We apply access controls, keep systems patched, and take daily backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat protecting your information as part of the product, not an afterthought.
8. Children
Our service is intended for business owners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International visitors
Our infrastructure and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, notify you by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
